Falling into Fall

Yesterday, I felt exuberated by the weather. No longer mourning summer, I embraced the cold air and felt rejuvenated.

Summer was a wild time in the city, not just for me, but for the city itself. Something about the heat, the humidity, the random thunderstorms, the barbecues- creates an electricity that charged me to act wildly, spontaneously, drunkenly.

Now is a chance to enjoy the indoors- the coziness of my apartment, the barrage of backed up netflix dvd's, self-reflection, and a few beers with friends around the corner.

Change is here, not just for New York, but for me.
