...3 things I am loving about this city at the moment...
1) Reading books! In La La land all I had time for was a magazine...Here, I have so much commuter time (in subway, walking- yes I can read while I walk) that I've been burning through novels...I just read "LIFE OF PI" and now I'm onto "A HOME AT THE END OF THE WORLD". Both I highly suggest.
2) Making friends! FINALLY. After a winter of remorse and fear that I was never going to make a new friend...walla! The sun is out and the people are nice and social. It's happening!!!
3) Uniqlo. The only store in the US. Japanese H&M basically. Right around the corner from my work. Eat it LA.
